At Tiqets, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy tickets to cultural must-sees and attractions in cities all over the world. Our technology allows users to easily browse and book tickets in seconds, meaning quick and easy entry to museums, zoos, theme parks and more, simply by flashing their smartphones.

Who are you?

As our Regional Director for the Americas, you’re responsible for achieving our financial, supply acquisition and quality goals and to provide guidance and leadership to individuals and teams within the region. You’ll be based in either the East- or West Coast of the US and will report directly to our Chief Supply Officer (who’s based in Amsterdam).

As Regional Director, you have a core focus on leading individuals and teams in the region, strong analytical skills and are fully knowledgeable of the marketplace. In addition, the role requires the ability to motivate, coach and mentor individuals and teams in the region.

Establishing and developing long-term relationships with both internal and external customers will ensure the success of the role.



  • Manage multiple-level teams, consisting of Regional Managers and Market Coordinators, within the region

  • Execute on leadership strategy

  • Define and execute strategy to acquire new attractions in cities and markets inside the regional territory

  • Assist Regional Managers with contract negotiation with top attractions in the region

  • Gain deep insights into the market through establishing long-term relationships with external partners and deliver intelligence into internal competitive tools

  • Participate in industry events and speaking engagements to share deep industry knowledge, forming long-term and influential relationships at executive and government levels

  • Influence external decision makers to partner with Tiqets and to expand Tiqets’ industry influence within the region

  • Define and execute strategy for roll-out of new product features in the region

  • Communicate strategy and market insights within the organization and foster an agile work environment, identifying and coaching talent

  • Be the point of contact for monthly earning calls concerning top suppliers in the region

  • Understand yield management principles and practices

  • Focus strongly on team work with a ‘get it done’ attitude, inclusive leadership style - able to motivate and engage a broad variety of individual styles

  • Evaluate each supplier contract with an understanding of products, services, and the market for the purpose of obtaining favorable arrangements for Tiqets

  • Drive high standards for individual, team, and organizational accomplishment; tenaciously work to meet or exceed challenging goals

Your Qualifications

  • Startup mindset, entrepreneurial style

  • Able to work in a flexible, fast-paced, ever-changing and challenging environment

  • Get satisfaction from goal achievement and continuous improvement

  • 4-6 years of experience in sales or account management, with a proven track record

  • Experience with successfully leading individuals and teams

  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)

  • Highly energetic and achievement oriented

  • Teamplayer with a great sense of responsibility

  • Ticketing industry experience is a plus, as is a personal network in local city tourism
